Mission and Goals

Mission

  1. Improve the quality of management in legal service organizations in Hawaii, whether in the public or private sector.

  2. Promote and enhance the competence and professionalism of legal administrators in Hawaii.

  3. Represent professional legal management to the legal community in Hawaii and to the community at large.

Goals

  1. Develop and deliver high quality educational programs to members.

  2. Improve and strengthen communications between members.

  3. Enhance the services and benefits available to members in conjunction with services and benefits provided by ALA International.

  4. Increase the visibility and credibility of the Association of Legal Administrators and its members in the legal community through effective marketing and communications and through liaisons with the Hawaii State Bar and other law-related association in Hawaii.

  5. Retain and recruit members.

  6. Implement and establish guidelines and responsibilities for officers and committee members to assure that organizational resources are used effectively to achieve the association’s goals.
